The life and times of the Sioux tribe 2

There is no real difference between Lakota and Dakota. It is the same name from the Sioux tribe. They  traveled to different states like Iowa, Nebraska, Montana, Northern Illinois, and south central Canada. The Sioux nation is organized by the 13 Sioux political subdivisions, combined in to seven major tribes. Lakota and Dakota speak English, but 15,000 Sioux Indians speak their own Lakota and Dakota language. For culture, children are high priority and they are considered sacred.
